The Animated Lighting DMX
Converter bridges the gap between the computer controlled animation world
with the thousands of available DMX-512 controlled devices used by the
professionals in entertainment, theater and architecture.
No longer do you need the
expensive DMX control consoles and highly trained personnel to run them.
By adding the Animated Lighting DMX converter to your Animated Lighting
installation, DMX based devices can be fully and automatically controlled in a
defined sequence, consistently and as you have it programmed. When combined with
other Animated Lighting sound and light controllers, you can create a fully
automated environment with repeatable results.
The Animated Lighting DMX
converter has been in production since 2003. The first 32 channels
can give
the simple DMX light fixture the intelligence of blinking, pop-fade,
reverse pop, sparkle, flicker, etc., all the standard Animated Lighting
effects.
Some Animated
Lighting controllers have a built-in DMX interface... something
the professional lighting designers can tap into to take advantage of
the lower costs and weatherproof enclosures. To put this in
perspective, professional grade DMX light controller packs usually start
around $150/channel. List price for the
ELDMX-16 is < $32/channel. A
typical stage venue will have hundreds of lighting channels and the
controllers get expensive quickly.
