Showcase : Signs & Marquees
Animated Lighting's controllers are ideal for adding advanced, eye-catching effects to signs and marquees at casinos, theaters, hotels, and other venues.
This sign includes more than 72,000 channels of controlled RGB lighting. We used our MonsterBrain controllers to pull off this impressive display.
The Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas needed a new sign to go above their store on the Las Vegas strip and they knew it couldn't be anything ordinary. They contracted with Kojis Sign of Louisiana and Kojis Sign called in Animated Lighting to add the WOW to the project.
The Boston Red Sox and Coca-Cola approached Triangle Sign (Baltimore, MD) about building an extra special Coca-Cola sign for Fenway Park. The requirements included a 40-foot width with the latest generation LEDs animated as if they were writing the letters in a slow script. With some help from Animated Lighting, the sign ended up with 1,022 individual LEDs controlled by 252 circuits.
The Bardavon 1869 Opera House takes you back to a vintage era when local performance venues were the dazzling centerpieces of many towns. The owners of the theater were renovating the facility and wanted to bring it back to all of its glory, including the attention grabbing marquee in front of the building. With the help of Animated Lighting, they returned the Bardavon to the grand showplace it once was.
Animated Lighting was selected to help update the huge 65-foot-tall panel tree and 6-foot-tall star topper on the front of the building by replacing all the incandescent bulbs with the latest generation LED lights and adding computerized special effects. Animated Lighting supplied the light controllers, programming and on-site expertise.
Vendome Copper is a 4th generation business based in Louisville, KY. They are a major provider of distillation systems for producing potable alcohol. Vendome made a copper sculpture to put in front of their building and asked Animated Lighting to provide RGB lighting and program lighting effects that would dance to music. We are very proud of this project. Enjoy!
