General Limited Warranties
Animated Lighting expressly warrants unconditionally that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for thirty (30) days from date of purchase. Further, Animated Lighting warrants that its products will be free from defects in labor and materials for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. Animated Lighting warrants that its software products will perform in substantial accordance with Animated Lighting’s published specifications for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase. Animated Lighting does not, however, warrant that its software products will be bug-free or error-free.
Non-Transferable
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser (end-user) for use in the fifty United States, Canada, or specified countries and is non-transferable.
Warranty Exclusions
The above warranties do not cover and Animated Lighting will not be liable for any conditions attributable to (1) misuse, faulty installation, misapplication, extreme environmental conditions beyond those defined in the product specification, lack of compliance with applicable instructions, improper or inadequate maintenance, negligence, accident, or tampering; (2) the incompatibility, improper design, manufacture, installation, operation or maintenance of products, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by Animated Lighting.
All batteries are specifically excluded from all warranty provisions.
Animated Lighting's obligation under these warranties is expressly to repair or replace, without charge, at Animated Lighting’s discretion, those products found by Animated Lighting to be defective.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Animated Lighting expressly disclaims any implied warranties or merchantability, infringement and fitness for particular purpose, and any other warranties, whether express, implied or arising by operation of law, trade usage, or course of dealing. Under no circumstances will Animated Lighting have any liability for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or loss. In no case shall Animated Lighting’s liability exceed the amount of the purchase price of any defective products and defective services.
No person, agent, or representative, other than an officer of Animated Lighting, is authorized to give any additional warranty on behalf of Animated Lighting. Any technical advice, recommendations, samples, and/or demonstrations provided by Animated Lighting concerning the use, application, or compatibility of any products or materials are provided by Animated Lighting for the purpose of assisting the customer to evaluate, at its own risk, the suitability of products for the customer’s intended use and may not be construed as an express or implied warranty.

Unless otherwise specified, all materials containing logos, graphics, icons and images of Animated Lighting, as well as the selection, assembly, and arrangement thereof, are the sole property of Animated Lighting or the companies we represent. No materials may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Any unauthorized use of the materials may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties.
How does Animated Lighting help me with my problem?
One of our trained technicians will work to resolve your problem and help you to get your product up and running. If your issue cannot be resolved, our technician will determine whether the difficulty you are experiencing is the result of our product, whether your product contains a defect, and whether your product is under warranty. If your product is under warranty and needs to be replaced, Animated Lighting will repair or replace the product.

How do I return my product?
This depends on how you purchased your Animated Lighting product. If you purchased it directly from Animated Lighting, you need to return it to us at the address provided to you by our technician. If you purchased your product through one of our dealers, you need to return your merchandise to the dealer from whom you purchased it.
Who is responsible for shipping?
It's the middle of "Holiday Season", how can I get a replacement product right away?
If our support technician has determined that your product needs repair or replacement, they can arrange to send out a new product immediately and cross-ship with your return. You will need to provide a credit card as a guarantee that the defective product will be returned. If we have not received the defective product within ten (10) days, we will charge your credit card for the cost of the replacement.
What is the procedure for a refund?
Refunds are provided by Animated Lighting or our dealers within thirty (30) days of purchase. There is a minimum 20% restocking fee for any item no matter when purchased. Contact our support department, or your dealer, to arrange your return and refund.
Is damage from a thunderstorm covered under my warranty?
No, your warranty does not cover natural disasters. Animated Lighting recommends you consider surge protection for extended use.
If my product is replaced under warranty, does my warranty start over?
No, your warranty continues from the original date of purchase.
